How long does a window replacement take?
Most homes are completed in one to two days once the units arrive. We remove, install, insulate, seal and trim each opening the same day it is opened, so your home is never left exposed overnight.
Do you replace the whole frame or just the glass?
It depends on the condition of the existing frame. Where the frame is sound we can install an insert unit; where there is rot or water damage we recommend a full-frame replacement so the problem is actually solved.
Does Wentzville require a permit for window replacement?
Usually yes, and which counter it goes to depends on whether your address is inside the city. Wentzville has annexed in stages, so some streets file with the city and some with St. Charles County. We check first and pull whichever applies.
Our subdivision is still being built out. Does the builder’s warranty cover the windows?
Sometimes, and it is worth checking before you pay anybody, including us. If your units are still under a manufacturer or builder warranty we will tell you to use it. We would rather lose that job than sell you something you already own.
