Local Expertise
The door most people call us about is not the front door. It is the one off the garage that everybody actually uses, or the patio slider that takes two hands and a shoulder. Those wear out first, because they get opened forty times a day.
The material under all of it we usually know already. Lenexa’s east-side houses still carry original steel entries with thin weatherstrip, and the builds west of Renner got sliders whose rollers were never meant to last thirty years. We replace the door, the frame and the threshold together, so the fix holds.
The Product
A door is the one exterior product you touch every single day, so how it feels in the hand matters as much as how it performs against the weather.
Lenexa Specifics
In most Lenexa houses the garage service door and the back slider see more traffic in a week than the front door sees in a month. Those get hardware and weatherstrip specified for real daily use, not the builder’s minimum.
The small houses around Old Town sit a step or two above grade, with narrow original openings and a shallow stoop that keeps the rain off but not the wind. A correctly sized replacement with a new sill pan stops the draft at the bottom of the door.
Newer Lenexa houses open onto a poured patio at ground level, so the slider is the yard door: kids, pets, a grill in July. Multi-point locking and a low sealed threshold keep it easy to slide and still tight in January.
What You Get
Reinforced strike plates, multi-point hardware and solid cores: the parts of a door a break-in actually tests.
Compression weatherstripping and adjustable thresholds stop the draft you can feel across the entry floor.
Interior and exterior trim returned to a clean, painted, caulked condition, not left for you to sort out.
How It Works
We come out, measure, look at what is actually there, and give you a written price with no obligation.
You choose materials, colors and details with samples in hand, and we confirm everything before anything is ordered.
Our own crews do the work, keep the site clean, and walk the finished job with you before we call it done.
No pressure. Just solutions.

Questions
A single entry or patio door is usually a one-day job. The opening is never left open overnight: removal, installation, insulation, sealing and trim all happen in the same visit.
Often yes, if they are in good condition and the proportions still work with the new slab. We will tell you honestly when replacing the full unit gives a better result than keeping mismatched glass.
For a like-for-like replacement, usually not. If we are changing the size of the opening we pull the permit with the City of Lenexa and schedule the inspection. Either way it is on us, not on you.
Yes, and it is usually cheaper that way: one crew, one day, one set of floor protection in the house. We price them separately so you can see what each one costs before you decide.
