Local Expertise
Roofs here are the most visible thing about a St. Charles house, which matters more than usual on the blocks where people walk past all weekend. What we look at first is not the field of the shingle. It is the chimney, the valleys and the places where a porch roof meets the main one, because that is where the water gets in on these houses.
We get up there, photograph every penetration and walk you through what we find. If the roof has years left and it is a flashing detail doing the damage, a targeted repair is what we will recommend, in writing. We are not interested in selling a roof we cannot warrant.
The Product
A roof is a system, not a stack of shingles. The parts you never see (decking, underlayment, flashing, ventilation) decide how long the visible part survives.
St. Charles Specifics
Masonry chimneys in the old part of town are usually the leak, not the shingle. The flashing gets cut into the brick properly and the counter-flashing gets replaced, rather than a bead of sealant over the last person’s bead of sealant.
Nineties and two-thousands houses out west put a finished room under the roof, and those spaces run hot because the framing left little room for air to move. We look at that when we quote, since a roof over a space that cannot breathe ages faster.
On the historic blocks the roof is part of a streetscape people photograph, and in the newer subdivisions it is what the association reviews. Full boards, looked at on your roof in daylight, beat a sample chip every time.
What You Get
Ice-and-water membrane at eaves and valleys where leaks actually start.
Manufacturer material coverage plus our own workmanship warranty, both in writing.
Magnetic sweeps of the drive and lawn, and debris hauled away, not stacked by the garage.
How It Works
We come out, measure, look at what is actually there, and give you a written price with no obligation.
You choose materials, colors and details with samples in hand, and we confirm everything before anything is ordered.
Our own crews do the work, keep the site clean, and walk the finished job with you before we call it done.
No pressure. Just solutions.

Questions
A typical single-family roof is a one to two day job. We tear off, inspect the deck, dry it in and finish the same trip, and the site is swept before the crew leaves each day.
We inspect first and show you photographs of what we found. If a targeted repair genuinely buys you several more years, that is what we will recommend. Replacing a roof that does not need replacing is not a service.
Yes. City addresses file with St. Charles, county addresses with St. Charles County, and historic properties add a review. We pull whichever applies, post it and schedule the final inspection.
Not by itself. Storm damage is uneven, and pitch, exposure and shingle age change what a roof actually took. We will inspect yours and document it with dated photographs, and if the honest answer is that it can wait a few seasons, that is what we will tell you.
