Local Expertise
St. Peters filled in over about twenty-five years, and the window that came with the house is usually a horizontal slider. You know the ones: a track that never comes properly clean, a sash that takes a shoulder to move, and glass that has clouded between the panes on the side of the house that takes the sun.
Your house decides the rest of it. Lots here are close together, so we look at which openings face a neighbor’s wall and which face the yard, where the noise comes from and which rooms you actually sit in. Then we measure everything and tell you the order worth doing it in, because on a house where every unit is the same age, the order is most of the decision.
The Product
A replacement window is a long-term purchase, and the difference between a builder unit and a well-specified one shows up on your energy bill and in how the house feels to sit in.
St. Peters Specifics
The builders here used horizontal sliders throughout, and they age in a predictable way: rollers flatten, the track collects grit and the interlock stops sealing. Replacing with a properly weatherstripped unit changes how the room feels as much as how it looks.
On lots this close, side windows are a compromise between light and privacy. Obscure and decorative glass options let a bathroom or a stair landing keep its daylight without a blind permanently closed over it.
When every opening went in the same year, they reach the end together, and doing all of them at once is a real number. We put them in order of what is actually costing you comfort, and the price per opening does not change if you come back next season.
What You Get
Fewer cold spots in winter and less radiant heat in summer, so the thermostat is not fighting your windows.
Insulated glass and tight seals cut street and mower noise noticeably, especially on front elevations.
Sashes that tilt in for cleaning, hardware that keeps operating, and finishes that never need painting.
How It Works
We come out, measure, look at what is actually there, and give you a written price with no obligation.
You choose materials, colors and details with samples in hand, and we confirm everything before anything is ordered.
Our own crews do the work, keep the site clean, and walk the finished job with you before we call it done.
No pressure. Just solutions.

Questions
Most homes are completed in one to two days once the units arrive. We remove, install, insulate, seal and trim each opening the same day it is opened, so your home is never left exposed overnight.
It depends on the condition of the existing frame. Where the frame is sound we can install an insert unit; where there is rot or water damage we recommend a full-frame replacement so the problem is actually solved.
Usually yes. We file it with the City of St. Peters for your address and schedule the work around the inspection. It is handled on our side.
With sound, somewhat, and it depends where. Thicker or laminated glass on the side facing a driveway or a neighbor’s equipment makes a noticeable difference. We will tell you which openings are worth the upgrade and which are not.
