Liberty Windows FAQ
How long does a window replacement take?
Most homes are completed in one to two days once the units arrive. We remove, install, insulate, seal and trim each opening the same day it is opened, so your home is never left exposed overnight.
Do you replace the whole frame or just the glass?
It depends on the condition of the existing frame. Where the frame is sound we can install an insert unit; where there is rot or water damage we recommend a full-frame replacement so the problem is actually solved.
Do you replace the sills and exterior trim around the window?
Where they need it, yes, and on older homes they usually do. A new unit set into rotted trim is a short-term fix. We price the trim honestly at the estimate rather than discovering it once the old window is out.
How long between ordering and installation?
Usually a few weeks for stock sizes and longer for anything shaped or oversized. We give you a date at the estimate, tell you if it moves, and we do not tear an opening out until the unit for it is sitting in our warehouse.
