A single entry or patio door is usually a one-day job. The opening is never left open overnight: removal, installation, insulation, sealing and trim all happen in the same visit.
Can I keep my existing sidelights?
Often yes, if they are in good condition and the proportions still work with the new slab. We will tell you honestly when replacing the full unit gives a better result than keeping mismatched glass.
Do I need a permit to replace a door in Shawnee?
For a like-for-like swap, usually not. If the opening changes size we pull the permit with the City of Shawnee and book the inspection. Either way it is handled on our side.
