Local Expertise
Most houses in this county are wearing their second skin already. Aluminum went on over the original wood in the sixties and seventies across Granite City, Wood River and Bethalto, and what is underneath it has been out of sight ever since. That is the first thing we look at, because it decides the job.
The exposures vary more here than people expect. A house on the bluff above Alton takes wind off the river with nothing in front of it, while a place down in the bottoms deals with damp air and slow drying. Those are different fastening and flashing details, not just different colors.
The Product
Every home is different, so we work with two proven lines: Craneboard insulated vinyl for whole-house performance, and Versetta Stone® mortarless veneer for masonry character. They go on alone or together on the same home.
Madison County Specifics
Pulling the old panel is when you find out: sound wood, or forty years of trapped moisture at the bottom courses. We look before we quote a full wrap, and we show you what is there rather than covering it again.
Wind coming off the river hits those homes square. Panel has to be fastened for it, with the starter and corner details done properly, because that is what stops a course letting go in the first big storm.
Along the industrial corridor, very light finishes show grime sooner and get washed more often. That is worth a minute at the estimate, since a color chosen for how it looks on day one is not always the one you will be happiest with in year five.
What You Get
Continuous insulation behind the panel reduces the thermal bridging that bare studs create.
No scraping, no repainting. An occasional rinse is genuinely the whole maintenance schedule.
A weather barrier behind every panel, sealed penetrations and correctly lapped flashing keep wind-driven rain out of the assembly.
How It Works
We come out, measure, look at what is actually there, and give you a written price with no obligation.
You choose materials, colors and details with samples in hand, and we confirm everything before anything is ordered.
Our own crews do the work, keep the site clean, and walk the finished job with you before we call it done.
No pressure. Just solutions.

Questions
Most homes take three to six working days depending on size, how complex the home is, and weather. We keep the site cleaned down each evening rather than at the end of the job.
We do not recommend it. Removing the old siding is the only way to inspect the sheathing, correct water damage and install the weather barrier properly, which is where the real performance comes from.
For a straight replacement, usually not, though it depends on your municipality, and unincorporated addresses go through Madison County. We confirm yours before anything is ordered.
Sometimes, and sometimes the honest answer is no. Covering original wood on a reviewed property is usually not allowed and is rarely a good idea anyway. Let us look first, and we will tell you plainly what can be done.
