Local Expertise
On a Belleville brick house the front door sits in an opening that has not changed since the place was built, and it is often the only real source of daylight in the entry hall. Out in the ranch neighborhoods the front door is a builder unit that has been taking the afternoon sun for decades, and the door everybody actually uses is somewhere else.
So we start with what the door is for. Light, security, the way the household comes and goes, and what the opening will allow. Then we replace the door, the frame and the threshold as an assembly rather than hanging a new slab in an old frame and calling it done.
The Product
A door is the one exterior product you touch every single day, so how it feels in the hand matters as much as how it performs against the weather.
St. Clair County Specifics
Older brick houses have small openings and dark entries, and the door is the cheapest place to fix that. A full-lite or half-lite unit with insulated glass brings the hall up several stops without touching the masonry.
We work within the opening you have. Widening one in a masonry wall is a structural job for a mason, and where that is what you actually want, we will tell you plainly rather than selling around it.
A worn entry door is one of the first things a buyer or an inspector notices, and it is a small job with a visible result. If your list is longer than your budget, we will tell you where the door ranks on it.
What You Get
Reinforced strike plates, multi-point hardware and solid cores: the parts of a door a break-in actually tests.
Compression weatherstripping and adjustable thresholds stop the draft you can feel across the entry floor.
Interior and exterior trim returned to a clean, painted, caulked condition, not left for you to sort out.
How It Works
We come out, measure, look at what is actually there, and give you a written price with no obligation.
You choose materials, colors and details with samples in hand, and we confirm everything before anything is ordered.
Our own crews do the work, keep the site clean, and walk the finished job with you before we call it done.
No pressure. Just solutions.

Questions
A single entry or patio door is usually a one-day job. The opening is never left open overnight: removal, installation, insulation, sealing and trim all happen in the same visit.
Often yes, if they are in good condition and the proportions still work with the new slab. We will tell you honestly when replacing the full unit gives a better result than keeping mismatched glass.
For a like-for-like replacement, usually not. If the opening changes size it goes to your municipality, or to St. Clair County for unincorporated addresses, and we take care of the filing.
Not as part of a door replacement, no. That is masonry and structural work, and the honest answer is that it needs the right trade first. We are glad to work with the opening once it exists.
