How long does a roof replacement take?
A typical single-family roof is a one to two day job. We tear off, inspect the deck, dry it in and finish the same trip, and the site is swept before the crew leaves each day.
How do I know whether I need a repair or a replacement?
We inspect first and show you photographs of what we found. If a targeted repair genuinely buys you several more years, that is what we will recommend. Replacing a roof that does not need replacing is not a service.
Is there anything we should do before the crew arrives?
A little, and we will walk you through it beforehand. Clear the driveway so the crew can park and load, move patio furniture and the grill well away from the house, and take anything fragile off the walls in the upstairs rooms, because a tear-off carries more vibration than people expect. Everything else is on us, including the magnet sweep of the yard and drive at the end.
Trees hang over my roof. Does that change the job?
It changes the plan more than the price. We work out access and where the dumpster and ladders go before the day, keep the valleys clear as we go, and tell you if a limb needs trimming back for the crew to work safely.
